1. Introduction

By using this website (“the Panel”) and completing a donation through it, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below.
“This Panel”, “the Service”, and “the Website” refer to this specific donation platform hosted on this domain.
“The Community”, “Us”, “We”, and “Our” refer to The Senate, which operates the Jedi vs Sith StarWarsRP server.

2. Nature of Donations

All payments made through this platform are considered voluntary donations that support the ongoing maintenance, development, and operation of The Senate’s Garry’s Mod servers.

When you make a donation, you acknowledge that:

  • You are not purchasing a physical or digital product with guaranteed monetary value.
  • Any in-game rewards, perks, or acknowledgements provided are gratuitous benefits — a thank-you for your support, not a commercial sale.
  • All donations are final and non-refundable.

3. Refunds and Chargebacks

Because donations are voluntary:

  • No refunds will be issued under any circumstance, including (but not limited to) bans, server closures, or loss of interest.
  • Refunds will only be considered if an administrative or payment-processing error is confirmed by us.
  • Filing a chargeback or payment dispute after receiving in-game rewards is treated as fraudulent activity.

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove your in-game access, ranks, or rewards;
  • Permanently ban your accounts from our servers and community platforms; and
  • Pursue legal recovery of funds and report chargebacks as potential fraud under Australian Consumer Law and relevant cyber-crime legislation.

4. Player Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring all payment details are correct before confirming a donation;
  • Understanding what the donation entails; and
  • Being of legal age or having parental consent to donate.

We are not liable for losses caused by:

  • Mistyped or incorrect payment information;
  • Misunderstanding of donation rewards; or
  • Technical issues beyond our control (e.g., downtime, outages).

5. Disclaimers

  • We make no guarantee that rewards, perks, or benefits will remain available indefinitely. They may be changed or removed for balance, gameplay, or technical reasons.
  • Access to our servers and services is provided “as is.”
  • The Senate and its administrators accept no responsibility for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from the use of this service.

6. Applicable Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
By donating, you agree that any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
